Intro

The hillside location itself on the edge of the small village of Guarda is breathtaking enough! The hotel consists of two beautifully decorated 15th-century Engadin buildings.

Overview

The main building has a magnificent dining room and 16 elegant rooms with WLAN. Each of the Chasa Pepina's 5 suites comes with a stone pine panelled parlour. Guests enjoy the use of the comfortable Stüvetta lounge with library and fireplace as well as the panoramic hotel garden.

Swiss Historic Hotels and Lodgings

The magnificent building, previously owned by the Engadine noble family of von Planta, has been run as a hotel for over 120 years and is now managed by the fifth generation of the Meisser family. Setting the tone, historic elements such as the Art Nouveau ceiling in the dining room and the hand-carved coats of arms of the von Planta and Jenatsch families are combined with modern comfort and a wonderfully warm atmosphere. The hotel also includes a museum dedicated to the picture-book hero “Schellenursli”, whose life is set in the heritage-protected village of Guarda.
